Android devices are some of the easiest to set up for LoftyTV. That includes Google TV devices like the onn 4K Pro and Chromecast with Google TV, Android TV boxes, the NVIDIA Shield, and Android phones and tablets.
Android phones and tablets
- Open the Google Play Store and search for IPTV Smarters Pro. Install it.
- Open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter any name, then the username, password, and server URL from your LoftyTV email. Tap Add User.
Google TV and Android TV
First, search the Play Store on your TV for IPTV Smarters Pro. If it appears, install it and sign in the same way as above.
If it doesn’t appear on your TV’s store, use Downloader instead:
- Install Downloader from the Play Store on your TV.
- Turn on developer mode: go to Settings > System > About, scroll to Android TV OS build, and press the center button seven times until you see a message that you’re a developer.
- Allow Downloader to install apps: go to Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources and switch Downloader on. (Menu names vary a little by manufacturer.)
- Open Downloader, enter
https://www.iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk, and choose Go. Install the app when the download finishes. - Open IPTV Smarters Pro, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, and enter your LoftyTV details.
Tips for a smooth first run
- The first load takes about a minute while the channel list and on-demand library download. Let it finish.
- Type the server URL exactly as it appears in your email, including
http://and any port number after a colon. - If your box has an Ethernet port, use it. A wired connection is the most reliable way to avoid buffering.
