Your LoftyTV subscription isn’t tied to your house. As long as you have internet, you can watch at a hotel, a vacation rental, or a relative’s place. A little preparation before you leave makes it painless.
Option 1: Bring your Fire Stick or streaming device
A Fire Stick or onn 4K Pro fits in a bag. Plug it into the hotel or rental TV’s HDMI port and connect it to the Wi-Fi. Your app and login are already on it, so there’s nothing to reinstall.
Pack: the device, its remote, the power adapter, and a USB power cable. Many hotel TVs have USB ports that don’t supply enough power, so use the wall adapter.
Dealing with hotel Wi-Fi sign-in pages
Many hotels make you accept terms or enter a room number on a sign-in page before the internet works. When you connect a Fire Stick to that network, it will usually open the sign-in page for you. If it doesn’t, or the TV’s HDMI ports are locked, a small travel router is the fix: you sign it in once from your phone, and your streaming device connects to the travel router instead.
Option 2: Use your phone or tablet

The rule most travelers forget
If someone at home is watching while you’re streaming at the hotel, that’s two connections. On a 1-device plan, one of you will get cut off. If this happens often, a second screen is just $5 a month extra.
Before you leave: a checklist
- Write down your username, password, and server URL, or save the email somewhere you can reach it offline.
- Test the app on the device you’re bringing.
- Pack the power adapter, not just the cable.
- Ask the hotel or host about Wi-Fi speed before you book if streaming matters to you. Live IPTV needs a steady connection.
