With tens of thousands of live channels and a huge on-demand library, the challenge isn’t finding something to watch. It’s finding it quickly. These tips work in IPTV Smarters Pro on most devices. Menu names can vary slightly between app versions.
1. Build a Favorites list
While browsing Live TV, long-press the OK button on a channel (or use the menu button) and choose Add to Favorites. Your favorites appear in their own category, so your go-to channels are one click away instead of buried in a long list.
2. Use search instead of scrolling
Every section (Live TV, Movies, Series) has a search option. Typing a few letters of a team, show, or network is much faster than scrolling through categories. On a Fire Stick, holding the voice button and speaking often works in the search box too.
3. Load the TV guide
The TV guide (EPG) shows what’s on now and next. If your guide looks empty, open the app’s settings or the Live TV menu and look for an option to install or refresh the EPG. Give it a minute to load.
4. Check Catch-Up for channels that support it
Some channels let you go back and watch shows that already aired. Look for a Catch Up section on the app’s home screen. Not every channel offers it, so if one isn’t listed, it doesn’t support catch-up.
5. Refresh your content after big releases
Our on-demand library is updated regularly. If you don’t see a new movie or episode, look for a Refresh or Reload option so the app pulls the latest list.
6. Switch the video player if a stream misbehaves
In settings, under Player Selection, you can change which player the app uses for live TV and on-demand. If one channel stutters or has audio out of sync, trying a different player often fixes it.
7. Turn on parental controls
If kids use the TV, set a PIN in the app’s settings and lock the categories you don’t want them browsing. This is especially worth doing if you haven’t decided about LoftyTV’s optional adult content.
